D-Force HPX now labeled for bed bugs WATERBURY, Conn. — The Professional Products Division of Waterbury Cos. has gained EPA approval of mattress and crack and crevice bed bug treatment applications for its CB Branded D-Force HPX residual with deltamethrin aerosol.
"Based on Waterbury's expertise in formulating ready-made handheld aerosols, we were able to quickly respond to the industry's need for a residual that provides a thorough bedbug treatment to all infested areas in a room," explains Mark Sargent, executive director of Professional Products. "Because of a lack of products with bed bugs on the label, I predict that D-Force HPX will quickly become a primary treatment tool for the increasing occurrence of bed bug calls that the industry has been experiencing." Introduced in 2002, D-Force HPX is the first professional deltamethrin formulation in a pressurized package. The
newly added bed bug claims will begin appearing on all cans of D-Force
produced by Waterbury Companies. The new label instructs technicians to:
Remove linens and wash before reuse. Apply to mattresses, especially
tufts, folds and edges until moist. Apply to the interior of the frame.
Allow to dry before remaking bed. Treat baseboards, molding, and spot
treat floors.
